Women’s Day (2016-2017)
Since 2016, on March 8th, Educo has worked towards encouraging the mothers to showcase and express their talents through various competitions and displaying products that they make. The objective of the event is to engage the community, especially the mothers, and provide them a platform to showcase the talent, which they do not have access to otherwise. Our first Women’s Day in calendar year 2016-17 was a spontaneous event where we gave the opportunity to the mothers of our children to display their talents. We had a tremendous response where 200+ mothers set up the tables we had arranged to display their cooking, embroidery and artefacts.
